I am SO SO SO excited to finally be able to tell you about my sale on Joss & Main! It launches tonight at 9 p.m. EST ! Joss & Main is a little addiction of mine, and I was so flattered when they asked me to curate a sale. Having ordered from them myself - I can tell you how great their products are, especially for the price points :)

Because I truly believe that living luxuriously also means living extra comfortably, I have put together a collection I really feel embodies that. Get a sneak peak below...

BEAUTY IN BALLARD

I never have as much time and I would like to page through some of the catalogues that come in the mail. Luckily, this weekend I had a few minutes, and a brand new Ballard Designs catalogue. I lloovveedd the vignettes they put together completely featuring their products. I think whether you already have similar pieces or are looking for a few new ones - these are inspiring to create warm and comfortable spaces...

WACIPI WONDER

Over the weekend we went to a Wacipi [Pow Wow] on one of the local Native American Reservations. It was absolutely incredible. The local Tribe holds the celebration once a year, and many tribe members from all over the midwest come and participate. The intricate beading, the amazing feather and fur detail, and the beautiful dancing was inspiring. To think of the hours that their community spent making their traditional dresses was unbelievable...

Have any of you ever been to a Pow Wow?

BARELY THERE PINK

This week has been so so so beautiful. I even busted out my northface fleece yesterday. Think I'm weird all you like, because I'm pretty thrilled to be back to putting together some semblance of an actual outfit - not just pieces of clothes. We had the hottest July on record - but I can't remember an August this cool. Its a welcome change and its given me a little jolt to continue with some projects that have been on my list. Like - painting my entryway. I like the idea of one of these barely there pinks...

In other news, this would be really good if it was true...

10,000 LAKES

I love typography and branding. Especially with pinterest, you see a lot of it, every day. Some things I pin, some I click through to the site, and some really keep me captivated. Like these. Maybe its because some of these places have a special place in my heart, or because they're all places in Minnesota, whatever it is - Nicole Miller is a graphic designer with an eye for capturing the spirit of each lake...

TREND WATCH: AGATE

I have long loved geodes. Theres a certain rare and jewel-like quality about them that I just can't tear my eyes away from. But - maybe for a second or two, I can, just to look at another pretty rock. Agates. The pattern and movement is too pretty - and the colors, they could be from a jewel box too. While rocks used to be exclusively for sitting on tables, or in the yard for that matter, people have gotten creative these days and I kinda love the wallpaper...

now, if you're just dying to add some agate to your house - check out these pretties...

LATE SUMMER ENSEMBLE

Earlier this spring I bought a great structured floral dress. To say it has carried me through the summer would be an understatement. Its feminine and lady-like, and great for so many occasions. As we head into fall, it might be slightly too summery, but I love the overall easy style of it. I also love that the bright tones of spring and summer are carrying into the fall season, only slightly more muted...

Pair this easy pink blazer with this bright and fun structured dress to stay warm as temps start to drop. Be comfortable and chic in these leopard hair flats. tie your outfit together with accessories - I think fall is the perfect time to start wearing a watch again, and this mini-spike gold bangle will make it pop! Finally, this affordable and stylish satchel will be your perfect catch-all!

AROUND THE HOUSE

Its been several weeks since I updated on my "one room:6 weeks" challenge. Theres really not too much to update. I still need to get a cow-hide rug, but with everything else we've got going on around here, thats just not in the budget right this moment - so it might be a few more months until the final reveal. BUT- we've had a lot going on socially, and feeling like everything about the house [i guess thats renovating] is sort of 75% finished, I was itching to rethink a few little focal points, so here they are...

I did some rearranging in the living room - and added this little coffee table/ottoman

Here's the buffet in the dining room that needed some rearranging, while its exciting and all that I finally figured out an arrangement that doesn't feel discombobulated - that orchid in the smaller vase is truly my triumph. I think my black thumb might slowly be turning a shade of green.

ON MY RADAR: BOTANICALS

Lately, I have been loving pretty botanical prints. Especially prints with fine detail and true to life color...

While I like large wall installations like this...

Its pieces like this that I find especially great. Their natural color, when added to a space like this, really brings it to life.

I think a few in a sweet little hallway or corner would be just enough for me. What about you? Are botanical prints too old fashioned, or coming back around?
